Wednesday marks the start of NAEM EHS & Sustainability Management Forum, the largest annual gathering for EHS and sustainability decision-makers. Celebrating its 25th year, NAEM’s annual conference promises best-practice sharing around strategic environmental, health and safety programs. With more than 650 attendees from 275 companies spanning various industries, and 20 peer-led sessions, we’re excited to collaborate on ideas and network with industry professionals!
Of particular note, ProcessMAP customer, Jason Johantges, Director of EHS at Scotts Miracle-Gro, will be participating in a session on Thursday, October 26, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. within the Optimizing Performance track. The session is titled, “Improving Performance by Integrating EHS Management Systems into the Business.” Jason and fellow speakers from Liberty Paper, Bridgestone Retail Operations and Polaris Industries will discuss ways EHS leaders are connecting their management systems into other business systems, as well as the importance of leveraging and engaging with enterprise management systems and data to advance EHS.
A successful workplace safety culture means organizational safety is efficiently and effectively managed and reflective of employee and management values. Organizations can achieve this culture by leveraging EHS software that produces meaningful data insights. EHS software today can deliver real-time business intelligence that streamlines workflow processes and initiates corrective action to prevent future incidents or accidents. A robust analytics engine can ensure organizational compliance, mitigate risk and increase companies’ bottom lines.
Ultimately, by integrating EHS technology into an organization, real-time analytics can be garnered and preventative action can be taken.
If you’re attending NAEM’s Forum this year, we hope you’ll attend this educational and informational session with Jason. For more information about the Forum and this session, visit the NAEM website here. We’ve also provided detailed information about the session below.
