Stellantis is a newly formed global automotive company with the 50-50 merger of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) and the PSA Group.

FCA partnered with ProcessMAP in 2016 to replace several point solutions with a comprehensive, enterprise-grade EHS platform to proactively mitigate operational risks and improve environmental sustainability.

By leveraging a solution that could work across multiple regions in local languages, FCA was successful in accessing ACT (Accurate, Complete, Timely) data, breaking down information silos, and making informed decisions.

Business Needs and Challenges

FCA with ProcessMAP EHS Platform

FCA utilizes the World-Class Manufacturing (WCM) methodologies and tools to comprehensively optimize its manufacturing and operational processes. One of the core components of WCM is the health and safety of workers, including employees, contractors, sub-contractors, etc. Additionally, FCA has a strong commitment to environmental sustainability.

The company required a robust EHS platform that could be seamlessly integrated with the WCM framework and their global sustainability initiatives. Additionally, mature mobile EHS capabilities were also a key business requirement.

FCA selected ProcessMAP as a long-term partner that could not only meet the current business needs, but also co-innovate EHS solutions for the future.

“…We have a very robust WCM (World Class Manufacturing) system [that] we use in our manufacturing process, [and] safety, health and environment are core to that… we found that our WCM system is very structured and engineered program and ProcessMAP’s [EHS] system integrated well to it…”1
