Allergan to Present Best Practices at NAEM’s Environmental Health & Safety and Sustainability MIS Conference

Sulaiman Hamidi, Manager EHS/Global Technical Operations, will present on the improvements of their organization’s EHS initiatives with a cloud-based Software-as-a-Service platform
Ft. Lauderdale, USA – 21st February, 2013 – Allergan Inc. (NYSE:AGN), a Fortune 500 pharmaceuticals organization, has announced that they will be presenting some of their best practices at the NAEM Environmental, Health & Safety and Sustainability Software conference by leveraging ProcessMAP’s platform to measure, monitor, and report its EHS initiatives.

Being one of the leaders in the Pharmaceuticals industry, Allergan faced the challenge to further improve their initiatives worldwide by streamlining the risk assessment process at every level of the organization. Some of the priorities included capturing EHS hazards associated with work activities and tracking action items to lower the hazards’ risk rating, which simplifies the entire risk assessment process, saving the company time resources while improving accountability.

ProcessMAP’s platform supports Allergan with these challenges by:

  • Facilitating the risk assessment management process by providing a tool that evaluates the initial risk rating in contrast to the final risk rating
  • Improving the accountability of the process with a robust action item platform that ensures preventive actions are managed and tracked to completion
  • Organizing all data entries in dashboards for quick visibility on the company’s EHS performance
  • Providing reports on company performance to assist in key strategic decisions to improve safety within the company

“We are extremely proud to support a company of Allergan’s size to assist their EHS and Sustainability initiatives.” said Dave Rath, CEO at ProcessMAP. “Allergan’s presentation at this upcoming trade show will demonstrate the years spent working hand-in-hand with their EHS department to develop a platform that consistently meets the needs of organizations worldwide”
