ProcessMAP Celebrates 21 Years of Delivering Breakthrough Innovation in the EHS Software Industry

ProcessMAP is one of the first companies to deliver a cloud-based EHS platform, and the company’s innovations empower customers to protect people, the planet, and operational assets in more than 140 countries.

April 20, 2021 [Ft. Lauderdale, FL]: ProcessMAP Corporation, the industry leader in offering a cloud-based data intelligence platform for Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) transformation; Sustainability; and Operational Risk Management (ORM), announced today that the company is celebrating its 21st anniversary of bringing innovation and digital transformation to customers around the world.

Founded on a Simple but Profound Objective

ProcessMAP was founded in April  2000, in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, with a simple but profound objective to enable forward-thinking companies to offer a safe and healthy work environment for workers; to proactively mitigate operational risks; and to minimize the environmental footprint of their business operations.

This objective was never more critical than it has been over the past year. As the COVID-19 pandemic triggered a global health and safety crisis, the EHS leaders within organizations were expected to mitigate the occupational health risks and to prepare a safe work environment for employees to return to work.

The company strives towards realizing this vision by tapping into the talent, passion, and creativity of team members employed in innovation centers across the United States, Canada, and India, serving customers across 140+ countries.

An Early Adopter of Cloud Architecture

ProcessMAP became one of the earliest companies to offer a comprehensive suite of integrated EHS solutions built on a multi-tenant Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) or Cloud platform. This ability to adopt emerging innovative technologies to drive value for customers has become the mainstay of the company. Over the last 3 years, the company has also invested heavily in developing a low-code/ no-code software development platform for customers to digitize their operational processes and deploy ready-to-use mobile apps, without requiring any software engineering help.

As customers transform their operations into hyper-connected, multi-cloud operations, and IIoT-driven workplaces, ProcessMAP’s innovations will continue to deliver tangible value to companies across all industries and geographies.

Innovation through Co-Innovation with Customers

In the year 2020, ProcessMAP released more than 450 product innovations and enhancements. About 40% of these were ideas driven by customers through various customer advisory boards and user councils. The strategy to make customers active stakeholders in the company’s innovation pipeline and to foster a culture of customer-centricity has enabled ProcessMAP to record sustained double-digit growth over the past 21 years.

Diversity and Equality at the Core

ProcessMAP is a highly diverse organization with employees from a wide range of races, cultures, nationalities, gender identities, sexual orientations, and religious affiliations. Since its founding, the company continues to be majority-owned by its employees. ProcessMAP is one of the very few organizations that provides comprehensive medical benefits at minimal cost to its employees, thereby making essential healthcare accessible to all employees and their family members.

Comments on the 21st Anniversary

“ProcessMAP’s vision wouldn’t have been possible without our customers’ relentless trust, mentorship, and support to help build an organization from the ground-up. In addition, we are extremely proud of our highly talented global ProcessMAP team that continues to take the foundational vision forward,” said Dave Rath, CEO of ProcessMAP Corporation.

“Our customers are the linchpin of our innovation strategy. We measure our success when our customers achieve value by reducing EHS risk, accessing better data for decision making, and increasing efficiencies across their organizations,” said Jagan Garimella, CTO of ProcessMAP Corporation.
